Description

78% of angel investors are men.  Yet, women control 33% of the wealth in the US.  So, why don’t we have more women angels?  Women are more likely to support impact businesses.  And, women are more likely to back woman founded businesses. Women are a powerful force in business and finance, yet only 22% of angel investors are women.  This session will explore topics related to what’s holding women back from angel investing, where do women excel at angel investing and entrepreneurship, how women and men view risk differently, and how women can engage in angel investing. The seminar will be led by Eric Dobson who has been involved in Angel Investing since 2011 and is the CEO of the Sheltowee Angel Network.
