Founded in 2011, the Women's Business Center of Kentucky helps women entrepreneurs, especially those who are economically or socially disadvantaged, start and grow businesses in the state of Kentucky.
The WBC of KY is one of over 120 women’s business centers across the country that provides technical assistance to help women start and grow their small business.
In an effort to “level the playing field” for women in business, our mission is: To empower, support, encourage, and equip women entrepreneurs and business owners for success through our trainings, workshops, counseling services, and networking opportunities. Our purpose is: To be a resource partner to women entrepreneurs in the state of Kentucky, especially those who are economically or socially disadvantaged. We are committed to: Provide services and programs that support and accelerate women business owners to strengthen their impact within the state. WHAT WE DO: We open doors so that more women can start, grow, and expand their businesses in the state of KY. We provide training, coaching, procurement opportunities, roundtables, counseling services, and networking opportunities. The WBC of KY serves a diverse population of women entrepreneurs at all stages of development.
