Noir Black Chamber of Commerce Inc. is a 501C3 Economic Development Organization, which launched in Louisville on August 19, 2019. The launch established the organization as Kentucky’s only black chamber of commerce consisting of 10 members, and since the launch, the chamber has made significant gains in terms of the number of entrepreneurs and small business owners it has helped start and grow their businesses. Today, the chamber has expanded into a national organization with over 200 members expanding across fourteen states. The chamber is also become a certified Community Development Entity (CDE) under The U.S. Department of Treasury. The chamber has also built collaborative partnerships with SCORE Louisville; Louisville Better Business Bureau; The U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce Inc.; Chase Bank’s Advancing Black Pathways Program; and it launched The Kentucky CDE CDFI Partnership with Community Ventures Inc. The chamber's latest accomplishment is the launch of the NOIRBBC Homebuyer Education Program & NOIRBCC eHome America HUD Certified Homebuyer Course to move more black and brown families towards homeownership.
